Delete my account

You can delete your Zizi's account yourself, at any time. This page explains exactly what happens, and how to ask us if you can no longer sign in.

Delete it in the app

Open My account and tap Delete my account, then confirm. You are signed out once it is done.

What is deleted

• Upcoming bookings are cancelled and anything still held is refunded.
• Your Agent profile and every document you uploaded (ID, selfie, police clearance) are deleted.
• Your personal details are cleared from your old booking records.
• Our team removes your login from the app.

What is kept, and why

Job and payment totals stay on record, because tax and accounting law requires it. Sensitive documents — your ID, selfie and police clearance — are never kept once your account is deleted.

Your right to deletion under POPIA

POPIA gives you the right to ask us to delete or destroy personal information we no longer have a lawful reason to keep, and to withdraw any consent you gave us. Deleting your account in the app is how you exercise that right. Wherever the law lets us, we delete instead of keeping; where we must keep a record, we keep only the totals and tell you why.

Information Officer and complaints

If you cannot sign in, or you want us to delete information without closing your account, contact our Information Officer. Requests are free and we answer within 30 days.

If you can no longer sign in

Email the support address shown in our App Store and Google Play listing, from the address you registered with, and ask us to delete your account. We confirm in writing when it is done.
